History

Wisconsin Box Company traces its roots back to the year 1889. The company originally began as a manufacturer of nailed wooden shipping boxes and crates. In 1921, Wisconsin Box officially acquired the rights to a process for making wirebound boxes and crates – the main product line that Wisconsin Box makes to this day.

Wisconsin Box is the only manufacturer of wirebound boxes with multiple plants to better serve you, our customer. These five nationwide locations include: Wausau, Wisconsin; Antigo, Wisconsin; Cleveland (Sheboygan), WI; Tonawanda (Buffalo) NY; and Dyer, TN.

With over 100 years of dedicated service to our customers, five nationwide locations, and quality craftsmanship, Wisconsin Box has become the industry leader in the design and fabrication of wirebound wooden shipping boxes and crates.
